Market: Garmin has with the vivosmart a new smartwatch in the portfolio that, in addition to a slim design, also has some interesting functions.
The watch will be presented at the IFA in Berlin. According to Garmin, the goal is to use the vivosmart to increase the fun of exercise and to provide motivation for active leisure activities.
The vivosmart calculates individual training goals and also offers a number of other functions. For example, the bracelet can be connected wirelessly to a smartphone. Incoming calls and messages can be recorded quickly.
The OLED touch display is illuminated and can display several functions. For example, the time, but also the distance already covered and the calorie consumption can be seen. The Garmin vivosmart also displays a countdown until the daily goal is reached. An inactivity bar tells you how long it has been since the last unit. The bracelet also uses a vibration alarm to inform you when you should become active again. The battery life is up to seven days.
