cycling: Bora-Argon18 signs more talents

September 19, 2014 by the editorial office

Emmanuel Buchman

Cycling: Just a few days after his overall victory in the cycling Bundesliga, Emanuel Buchmann can look forward to a new contract. The Ravensburger will drive for the Bora-Argon18 team next year.

After Dominik Nerz and Björn Thurau, Buchmann is the third German rider secured by the Raublinger team, which ran under the name NetApp-Endura this year. There are also Phil Bauhaus and the Austrian Patrick Konrad. All three receive a two-year contract in the German team.

“Bora gives us financial security over the next five years. That is the basis for building up young drivers without pressure and for fulfilling their dream of a professional career. I am pleased that we can offer this perspective to some of the greatest talents from the German-speaking region. Phil offers us an excellent reinforcement in the sprint train and a fast-paced alternative for the final. Emanuel and Patrick are proven climbers and therefore very valuable for our successful tour group. I'm happy to have the guys on the team.", says team manager Ralph Denk.
