Eurobike: The world's most important bicycle fair closed its doors yesterday evening with a positive result.
In total, more than 46.300 trade visitors from 111 countries and 21.100 fans attended the fair on the public day. With 300 world premieres, it had a lot to offer. Not only bikes with e-drive, but also conventional bicycles could inspire the visitors.
After the record number of exhibitors with 1.320 companies from 54 nations, the Eurobike also recorded a new high in the number of trade visitors: last year only 45.200 visitors found their way to Friedrichshafen.
The exhibition management was correspondingly relaxed: "The mood among the exhibitors is excellent, we have noticed a high level of satisfaction among our customers."
Exhibition manager Klaus Wellmann, area manager Stefan Reisinger and Eurobike project manager Dirk Heidrich were able to draw a very positive conclusion after four days of the trade fair with many visitors: "The international bicycle business is running at full speed here on Lake Constance."
The exhibitors were also satisfied. Martin Hsu, General Manager Kind Shock Hi-Tech Co., LTD.: “The Eurobike went very well. We met 99 percent of our customers here.” Carsten Zahn, Head of Marketing at Rolf Bohle GmbH, agreed: “The crowds flock here. Went well, hit everyone, everything was great.”
Claus Wachsmann, Marketing Project Manager Cube Bikes, was also satisfied: “We at Cube see the Eurobike as the leading global trade fair in connection with the Demo Day as an international event, which is extremely important, especially for reaching the professional world. We are absolutely satisfied because we can bring many of our international customers and distributors together here at the fair and generally make good contacts.”
Bernhard Lange, Managing Partner of Paul Lange & Co. OHG, agreed: “Once again, the Eurobike has shown itself to be the leading global trade fair for the industry. In many good discussions, both with industrial and trading partners, we have registered a consistently positive, optimistic mood, which allows us to look to the coming season with great confidence. In general, it can be seen - also due to the great interest on the part of politicians, associations or general interest media such as daily newspapers, agencies or television stations - that the topic of bicycles is continuously gaining in popularity. It has long been an integral part of everyday life, leisure activities, urban mobility concepts and a healthy lifestyle. For us, the Eurobike 2014 is a complete success in every respect.”
The date for the Eurobike 2015 has already been set. The international bicycle fair takes place from
Wednesday 26th to Saturday 29th August 2015. Demo Day is on Tuesday 25th August, public day is on Saturday 29th August 2015.
