Market: The Eurobike is big: a total of 1.280 exhibitors from 54 countries are exhibiting in twelve halls. In order to create a small overview of what is in which hall and which innovations or highlights await visitors on the public day, here is a small overview.
Hall A1
De Rosa Ugo & Figli – A1 406
The Italian road bike manufacturer De Rosa is the first to do so. The Italians have been racing for 60 years and have a diverse portfolio. There is a lot to admire here, especially in terms of material selection. Because at De Rosa they don't just rely on the high-end material carbon. The product range is characterized by steel, titanium, aluminum and carbon frames.
This is at the top of the De Rosa range 888 Superking. The wheel comes in variants R, SR and E offered, whereby that E-Model is equipped with an electric circuit.
Another eye-catcher is the aero model Protos.
Shimano—A1 103
At the gear giant Shimano, everything revolves around the new one this year XTR-Group. For the first time, a manufacturer is offering an electric gearshift system for mountain bikes.
The advantages of the well-known Hard Ace Di2 should now also find its way into the area. At the Shimano stand you can take a close look at the new drive and test ride it on the roller.
In addition to the XTR there are many innovations from the subsidiary companies Pro and Pearl Izumi to marvel at.
Ritchey-A1 106
Ritchey is attacking next year with a new crosser. The Swiss Cross Disc should be perfectly equipped for cross-country use and impresses with a filigree steel frame in a simple retro look.
In addition to many saddles, including the new Vector Evo for racing bikes, there are also new stems and handlebars on display. Another highlight are the WCS Apex Carbon Clinchers. In the fight against time, the 60 millimeter high rims should find the necessary thousandths to snatch victory. The complete wheelset weighs 1.561 grams and is compatible with all common drives.
Simplon-A1 405
The Austrians from Simplon are also present in Hall A1 and show a wide-ranging portfolio. In addition to the enduro bike Kuro 275 you ask that too Inissio Granfondo from, which knows how to convince with many features. The Inissio Granfondo meets the desire for more braking power and so Shimano's disc brakes are installed in combination with a thru-axle system, which is intended to optimally absorb the forces that occur.
For the somewhat less ambitious cyclists, there are also trekking and e-bikes on site. Part of this is the Simplon Sex, which is based on an interesting carbon frame.
Hall A2
Nicolai – A2 203
The German handmade forge Nicolai once again shows impressive quality and technology. Kalle Nicolai is known to be a big fan of the Pinion gearboxes, and so you can see that alongside the current ones Ionmodels also a lot of bikes, be they fat, enduro or all-mountain bikes, with a gear box.
With their exhibition model of the Ion 16, which has been given a special geometry at the request of a customer, they prove that Nicolai does not get bikes off the peg. Oversized bikes are no problem for the Lübbrechts engineers and so every driver can express his very special wishes.
Lightweight—A2 319
Lightweight is on home soil in Friedrichshafen. The high-end carbon forge is presenting the first hubs for brake disc use this year.
In addition to the current models, such as the milestone or the Lightweight archetype, an interesting concept of a bike is also presented, which generates electricity through magnets on the rear wheel and can therefore do without dynamos, batteries or other power sources. The magnets are part of the motor, which can also be used as a brake or generator. The bike weighs less than 15 kilograms.
Deer – A2 201
Rotwild has set up the AMG Rotwild MTB Racing Team in cooperation with AMG and will be offering the models that Nadine Rieder, Lukas Baum and the rest of the team are using for the first time to end customers. The wheels are designed entirely for racing and offer merciless racing performance.
However, the rest of the portfolio has not changed much. It remains true to the models from the previous year and relies on a clear demarcation between Cross Country, Allmountain and Enduro. The counterparts to the respective models, the Rotwild e-bikes, are exciting. There is a suitable e-bike for every mountain bike. Ole Wittrock, Marketing Director, explained that it was important to Rotwild that the wheel was not built around the engine, but that the engine was integrated into the existing concept.
Hall A3
Sram-A3 204
With its stand this year, Sram isolating itself somewhat from the competition. In an almost closed complex, the Schweinfurt show engineering at the highest level. In addition to the many spring elements, such as the Rock Shox Blanket and the MonarchPlus-Damper, shows the innovations in the brake and drive area.
The new one is exciting XX1 measuring crank. The Quark XX1 Measuring crank is with the already known system of Quark Equipped with a power meter, they now also offer endurists and cross-country riders the opportunity to analyze their training very precisely.

Scott Sports-A3 300
As in previous years, Scott has one of the largest stands at Eurobike. This is due to the almost endless range of products and so everyone gets their money's worth here. Children's bikes, enduro bikes, racing bikes for men and women and a number of clothing items, Scott is not limited to any specific area of cycling.

Radon Bikes—A3 205
Radon Bikes presents the products of the coming season on a completely new stand. As chief developer, Bodo Probst is open to all questions and explains the novelties of the season.

DT Swiss – A3 402
The Swiss wheel experts from DT Swiss have a very special treat at their stand. Nino Schurter made his bike available as a team rider and so the bike of the multiple XC world champion, equipped with DT Swiss components, is on display here - unwashed, of course.

Storck-A3 100
In the coming year, the Idstein noble manufacturer Storck will celebrate its 20th anniversary. Four new models are presented at the Eurobike. Among them the new aero racer Airfast, the Scenery G2, Visioner CSL, which is the evolution of the Visioner C and the new T.IX, the first crosser from Storck.
