Cycling: Andreas Graf and Marcel Kalz (Maloja Pushbikers) are currently enjoying success in the USA. In Trexlertown, both won the Madison Cup ahead of Denmark's Marc Hester and Mathias Kriegbaum. Third place went to Christian Grasmann (Maloja Pushbikers), who started with the Czech Martin Hacecky.
Right from the start, the two track specialists dominated the three races that were to decide the overall victory. There were two Madison races, one of which was 50 laps, the second 100 laps long and one elimination drive. Graf and Kalz won all three races.
"You can see how much we enjoy racing in the USA by the fact that we were able to win all the big Madison races in Trexlertown this year.", said Andreas Graf after the race.
