Market: Shimano is expanding its product range with regard to the Enduro sector. After presenting an enduro shoe yesterday, the new one is now being shown ounce 4 Enduro, a new backpack.

ounce 4 Enduro, short U4E, is the new Enduro backpack from Shimano. The backpack is optimized for racing and offers a four liter capacity in addition to many interesting features. There are small compartments for tools, glasses, pump and the reservoir for the hydration bladder is not missing on the U4E. Thus, for the time being, it does not differ too much from its competitors.

But the U4E really comes into its own when it comes to adapting to the body. With a new system, the X harness, the backpack should fit the body like a second skin. It wraps around the body to prevent it from slipping.
Protectors such as a full-face helmet or knee shin guards can be easily attached to the backpack during the climb and thus do not interfere with pedaling.

The Shimano ounce 4 Enduro will, like the M200 shoes, be available in stores from next spring. With a weight of only 605 grams, it should be a light and comfortable companion for every tour. It is available in two colors: blue and yellow.
