Market: Shimano introduces a new shoe for mountain bike use, the SH-M200. It is tailored to the needs of enduro riders and should convince both uphill and downhill.
The component giant Shimano presented the new for the first time today SH-M200 proposes a shoe specially designed for enduro use. Enduro races demand everything from the riders and the material. The constantly changing terrain places high demands on both rider and equipment. This flexibility, which is required in such races, should M200 combine perfectly and give the driver the necessary security.

The shoe should be characterized by the greatest stiffness, especially in the area of the cleats, while at the same time offering the driver enough flexibility in the area of the hook. This sole construction already comes with the models SH-M089 and SH-M163 for use.
The Dual density extra cushion-Insole is designed to protect the driver from harsh impacts and absorb them optimally. A nice feature is the increased ankle protection on the inside. This is to protect the ankle from the crank and chainstays on wild descents.
In order to do justice to every driver, the mounting of the cleats has also been extended to nine millimetres. The driver is thus offered a larger area for adjusting his shoe position.
The Shimano M200 will be available from spring 2015 and will be available in black and army green.
