Spectrum: POC auctions luxury bikes for a good cause

June 17, 2014 by the editorial office

Lifestyle: Swedish protector manufacturer POC is auctioning off four premium Cervélo bikes to celebrate the launch of its AVIP concept. Sounds funny, but it isn't.

With the auctions, the Swedes want to raise money to support the Spinalis organization. This has made it their mission. To research vertebral injuries and corresponding healing methods.

In addition to Cervélo, POC has also teamed up with Fizik, HED, Shimano and TRP for this purpose. The collaboration resulted in four bikes – two each P5 and RCA. “We individually designed the bikes together with our partners”, says POC CEO and company founder Stefan Ytterborn.

The auctions will be open until July 1st.
