Product news: Campagnolo Chorus EPS: Italians expand program

June 5, 2014 by the editorial office

campa1

Market: The Italian cult brand Campagnolo has expanded its portfolio of electronic groupsets. Now it will also include the chorus in the EPS- give version.

The Campagnolo Chorus EPS inherits the genes of the electronic top groups great record and All time lap record, but also the design language of the mechanical counterpart. This is particularly evident in the levers, which are said to have a much better switching behavior. The levers are made of carbon and ensure a noble appearance.

The group is operated by an internal EPS V2-Battery. In conjunction with the revised derailleur and the new rear derailleur, the group also allows precise shifting under load. The entire system is waterproof, so you don't have to be afraid of riding in the rain.

The crank of the new group is identical to the model of the mechanical one Chorus. The 4-arm construction should give the crank more rigidity and also allow wider gear ratios due to the hole size. All three standard combinations, i.e. 53/39, 52/36 and 50/34, can be fitted to one and the same set. The cranks are available in lengths of 170, 172,5 and 175 millimeters.

We do not currently have a price for the group.
