The US component manufacturer Sram is currently testing an electronic groupset at the Tour of California together with Team Bissell.
The special thing about this group is that - in contrast to Shimano and Campagnolo - it shifts without cables. Rather, it seems that Sram uses ANT+ or BlueTooth. Apparently, a small battery is installed in both the rear derailleur and the front derailleur. This ensures a very tidy look on the bike.

It is not yet clear when the group will officially appear.
