Product news: Specialized enters the 650B market

It was a bit surprising that Specialized, as one of the leading brands in the enduro sector, did not equip any of its models with the new 27.5 inch wheels last year. With the announcement of the new 650B tire models [Link] However, a few weeks ago one could guess the direction that the American bicycle giant would take. Now the first 27.5 inch model has been officially presented. The popular Specialized stump jumper will now be fitted with 650B wheels and will completely replace the 26 inch version. So that will stump jumper only be available with 27.5 and 29 inch wheels in the future.

The Stumpjumper is offered in an aluminum and in the high-end FSR Expert Carbon Evo-Variant. The new Stumpjumper offers the rider 150 millimeters of travel both at the front and at the rear. It is not yet known how the geometry was adapted to the new, larger wheels, but the prices of the new models should be based on those of the 26-inch wheels.
