cycling: Faris Al-Sultan starts at the Cross-Triathlon World Championships in Zittau

March 7, 2014 by the editorial office

faris

On August 16th, the ITU Cross-Triathlon World Championships will be held in Zittau as part of the O-See-Challenge. The race is already casting its shadow - in a positive sense! Because with the Hawaii winner Faris Al Sultan, one of the most famous German triathletes will be at the start at the home World Championships in the Zittau Mountains. "A World Championship in your own country is always a great affair, so I'm really looking forward to the race", explains Al-Sultan.

Al-Sultan is a prominent draft horse for the World Cup and will certainly increase the participation motivation of some elite colleagues as well as that of the members of the DTU age group national team. "We are expecting a large international starting field and are confident that we can also welcome a highly motivated DTU age group national team to Upper Lusatia.", organization chief Dr. Klaus Schwager optimistic about the title fights.
