cycling: Fair play by Kaufmann and Käß at the Absa Cape Epic

March 29, 2014 by the editorial office

video2

Markus Kaufmann and Jochen Käß showed greatness and sportiness par excellence on yesterday's fifth day of the Absa Cape Epic. Kristian Hynek from the Topeak-Ergon team suffered two punctures, whereupon Käß, who is far behind in the overall standings with his partner Kaufmann, did not hesitate and made his wheels available to Hynek. Hynek and Mennen were thus able to finish the stage in fifth place and defend their yellow jersey. The full race report is here [Link].
