cycling: Elisabeth Brandau and Martin Gluth switch to radon

March 18, 2014 by the editorial office

brandau

After yesterday the enduro riders Petrik Brückner and Joost Wichman were announced to be sponsored by Radon [Link], the Bonn bike manufacturer is now adding XC riders Elisabeth Brandau and Martin Gluth. The long-term cooperation with the two top athletes from the EBE Racing Team should accompany them until the 2016 Olympics. “We are happy to have two hot irons in the fire with the two when it comes to qualifying for the Olympics. But there is still a long way to go, and we want to support the athletes as best we can.", according to Radon CEO Chris Stahl.

"We're happy to have two hot irons in the fire with these two when it comes to qualifying for the Olympics."

Brandau herself has a long list of achievements, including multiple German marathon champion, two-time German runner-up in XC and cyclocross, and German champion in the XC Eliminator. Gluth has already won Bundesliga victories. He also achieved top placings in world championship races. The goal of the two is to participate in the world championships, the national championships and, in the medium term, to qualify for the 2 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. "A motivating goal, because the Olympics", according to Brandau, "is after all the dream of every athlete."

In addition to Brandau and Gluth, the remaining riders of the EBE Racing team will also benefit from the cooperation and will be on wheels from the Bonn manufacturer.
