Product news: Zoot presents new aero seat pad TT Chamois

11 February 2014 by the editorial office

Zoot1

The seating position on the triathlon or time trial bike is known to be very different from that on a normal racing bike. For optimized aerodynamics, you usually sit extremely deeply bent and pushed far forward. This results in a particularly heavy load on the pubic bones. The clothing manufacturer Zoot has developed a special seat pad for precisely this type of stress. The TT Chamois comes in the Performance TT Short is used and is intended to relieve the pubic bone and perineal area with a 6 millimeter thick padding.

According to Zoot, the bi-elastic functional material, as well as excellent freedom of movement and excellent moisture management, are the main features of the cycling shorts.

Zoot cuts out superfluous material in the rear part and manufactures the padding with a thickness of only 3 mm. The gender specific TT Chamois is anatomically shaped and should be able to offer the best comfort. Thanks to small drainage holes, it should also dry in a flash.

The price is the Performance TT Short including the TT Chamois-upholstery at 69,95 euros. More information at www.zootsports.com
