cycling: Team Presentation: Rocky Mountain - Urge bp Rally Team

February 11rd 2014 by the editorial office

As the recently released list of Enduro World Series teams showed us [Link], there are a number of new teams this year that are fully focused on enduro sport. The traditional Canadian manufacturer Rocky Mountain Bikes also founded a new team. Together with the helmet specialist Urge you start under the name Rocky Mountain - Urge bp Rally Team into the new season.

The Rocky Mountain will be the team bike Altitude 770 MSL used in the Rally Edition. It is equipped with components from Shimano, Maxxis, Stan's No Tubes, Fox Racing Shox, Cane Creek and Race Face.

The team benefits from the merger of two teams, the Urge bp and Rocky Mountain Enduro teams. So you have four top-class drivers on the starting line, who have a wealth of experience in racing.

  • Florian Nicolai — 13th place overall in the Enduro World Series (EWS) 2013
  • Jesse Melamed — Ranked 6th in Whistler EWS 2013
  • Alex Cure — ranked 19th overall at the 2013 EWS
  • Isabeau Courdurier — Winner of the 2013 Enduro Series French Cup
