cycling: UCI Track World Cup #3: Final silver

At the UCI Track World Cup in Guadalajara, Mexico, the Federation of German Cyclists was also able to celebrate a medal at the end. Heidenauer Max Niederlag secured silver in the sprint competition. In the final he only had to face the Dutchman Hugo Haak defeated. The 20-year-old had already shone in qualifying with a time of under 10 seconds.

In the remaining races, the podium places went to drivers from other nations. Occupied at the Madison Henning Bommel and Theo Reinhardt finished seventh behind the New Zealand winners Patrick Bevin and Thomas Scully. Miriam Welte finished eleventh in the women's keirin competition. It won Wai Sze Lee from Hong Kong.



The outcome of the Omnium competitions was exciting for both women and men. The difference in points between the first and second place finishers was one point each. In the women won dThe Pole Katarzyna Pawlowska, for the men the Australian Tirian McManus.
