At the Eurobike 2013, claustrophobia presented their new collection for the first time. With pants, jerseys and jackets for every type of mountain biker, the Berliners by choice have been able to win over a number of two-wheeler enthusiasts in recent years. Also for this 2014 season they experimented with a new color scheme. For a preliminary test we were allowed to use the new cross flex-Combination for men already running in the forest.
Claustrophobia is known for its somewhat daring, but still harmonious color combination. Our test models come in olive green and black with neon yellow accents - a simple combination with a beautiful eye-catcher. Both the jacket and the pants were created for light all-mountain and enduro tours and are based on the 4-way stretch material, which consists of 86 percent nylon and 14 percent spandex.
The claustrophobia cross flex-Shorts, as the name suggests, have a comfortable flex and fit the hips well. The trousers stay where they belong and don't slip thanks to the zip and two press studs. There is a ventilation opening on both sides, which can be used as desired via a zipper. In addition, two pockets are worked into the pants, both on the right side. The sporty cut in combination with the relatively solid fabric conveys a secure feeling and also keeps the cold autumn air (and current winter air) away.
The cross flexThe jacket looks very casual. A sporty, loose cut makes them suitable for everyday use. Two large pockets offer enough space for some accessories or the phone. The air in the jacket can circulate well through the ventilation openings under the arms.
//Conclusion
The new cross flex-Collection is sporty as ever. The combination of sporty design and plenty of freedom of movement is perfect for long tours. And that too in the cold season.
