Product news: Stromer ST1: myStromer AG is recalling forks

myStromer AG is one of the leading suppliers in the pedelec and e-bike segment. The Swiss are aware of this, which is why they are careful to meet high quality and safety standards. Since the The A Series-Forks of the Stromer ST1 do not seem to correspond to these, they are now called back.

Affected Stromer owners are called to their Stromer ST1 no longer ride with a carbon fork and to bring your e-bike to a specialist dealer immediately for inspection. Stromer models with suspension forks are not affected. All affected carbon forks will be replaced with a carbon fork from the current series as quickly as possible and free of charge.



According to the official statement, Stromer is a safety risk with the first series (A) of its carbon forks for the Stromer model ST1 known. Even though only one case of fork failure has been reported so far, Stromer is recalling all carbon forks from the first series for safety reasons. After a comprehensive examination of the production data of the A-Series, 122 carbon forks could be identified that have a potential safety risk. All Stromers are affected ST1that shipped between February 01st, 2013 and November 28th, 2013.
