Safety pins, race numbers and a massacred jersey - which active racing driver doesn't know that?
Fastening the start number to the jersey is often the last step before you start. And because you're already consumed by nervousness, you prick your finger with the safety pin, you can't close it because your fingers are trembling, or you damage your jersey before the race. No wonder some jerseys look like a piece of Swiss cheese after just one season.
However, this scenario should be avoidable in the future: With the race dots by Jason Berry and Stephanie Wolf, it should be easy to attach the start number. The principle is simple. Two interlocking magnets the clamp the start number simply but securely on the jersey. The surfaces of race dots can be designed as you wish, so that many different designs are already planned. The project is currently in the start-up phase. To get it started, Berry and Wolf started a fundraising campaign - with success. All information about the project can be found at www.indiegogo.com
