On August 5th, Briton Mike Cotty, former Marketing Manager at Cannondale, embarked on a special journey from Évian-les-Bains. More than 650 kilometers with numerous Alpine passes lay ahead of him. The special thing about his tour was neither the distance to be covered nor the altitude difference. Rather, Cotty wanted to cover the path in one piece, face the hardships and explore his own limits.
With the successful implementation of his tour, he proved that these are far-reaching. After 32 hours and 24 minutes he reached Nice, with 677,1 kilometers and 16.066 meters in altitude in his legs. "I didn't know how slim I could be", was recorded at the time and added: "First of all, I'm going to buy the biggest pizza in town."
To share his tour with the world, Cotty has now teamed up with his outfitter Mavic released two inspirational videos.
