Clothing: Scott W's Shadow ls/fit shorts: The discreet ones

September 23, 2013 by the editorial office

We told you a few days ago "W's Sky Top" introduced by Scott [Link], a women's shirt for trail use. Appropriately, the Swiss have also provided us with shorts for testing, the "W's Shadow ls/fit shorts".

//structure and features

The shorts from the "contessa"-Line come in dark purple, with accentuated inserts on the right and left lower outside, so they are quite subtle and score points in terms of fit. Because size S also offers a waist size adjustment that allows even the very small and slim to adjust the trousers almost perfectly. Another plus is the soft fabric used on the inner waistband. It ensures a comfortable fit and allows the shorts to rest comfortably on the hips.

Overall, the pants are loose and stand out due to their low weight. In the leg area, it offers a lot of freedom of movement, the fabric is resistant, but at the same time elastic and very flexible.

The pocket on the right buttocks offers enough space for keys, phone, or other small essentials. You can't feel it when it's empty, but it could be a problem depending on the seating position and saddle size.

//Conclusion

In the test, the surprised "W's Shadow ls/fit shorts" with its water-repellent fabric. They also impressed with their light and comfortable fit and plenty of freedom of movement for playing games on the trails.
