General: Sram X01 the cheaper version of the XX1 drive

Sram revolutionized the drive market with the "XX1". The 2×10 drive dominated the MTB market for a long time. The "XX1" group has been setting new standards since it was launched. It quickly became clear that this is not affordable for everyone, so the development offices at the Sram headquarters in Schweinfurt worked on a cheaper variant that should offer the same advantages. The result was the "X01". Significant differences are initially quite difficult to recognize. Like the "XX1", the group is equipped with a carbon crank. You can choose between five different chainring sizes: 30-32-34-36-38 teeth. The small sheet of 28 is therefore reserved for the "XX1". You can choose between the "X01 Grip Shift" and the "XO1 Trigger" for the shifters. The very complex production of the cassette was revised and so it was possible to save on the price here as well. Nevertheless, the "X01" is no bargain. If you add up the individual list prices of the parts, you get a total of 1.113 euros.
