Founded in 1972 by Ben Serotta, Serotta Bikes has been building custom bike frames to the rider's preferences since the very beginning. At the beginning of the year, Serotta merged with Blue Competition Cycles and Mad Fiber Wheels. Thus one became part of the Divine Cycling Group. The basic idea behind the merger was that the companies would have greater resources and greater capital at their disposal. However, the promised capital from Divine Cycles Group was not provided. Now Serotta Bikes is on the brink of collapse. "At the moment I can't say if this is only a temporary solution or if we have to close completely," says Ben Serotta.
